Technical Support Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - 78,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a university degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- We require good knowledge of hardware, servers, Wi-Fi routers, 4G, and related technologies.
- We require experience debugging on real devices.
- We require extensive experience in 1st to 3rd line IT support and managing tickets.
- We prefer experience managing user access, device compliance, and system security across cloud environments.
- We prefer experience with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
- We prefer working experience in the technology field.
- We require strong communication skills.
- We require strong problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive mindset.
- We require a go-getter attitude, ownership of tasks, urgency, and the ability to prioritise.
- We prefer a full UK driving licence, as travel to clients premises may be required.
- We implement and test firmware for Ambarella-based cameras.
- We collaborate with external partners on hardware and software troubleshooting and improvements.
- We resolve technical issues raised by customers in an effective and prompt manner.
- We schedule remote support calls with customers and external partners using Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, and similar tools.
- We perform hands-on hardware repairs using lab equipment.
- We oversee and automate the delivery of scheduled technical reports and data analytics for key accounts.
- We assist our Sales team and participate in camera trials by providing demos to potential customers and resolving technical issues quickly.
- We coordinate with our Sales team to plan product delivery and ensure cameras are despatched to customers within agreed timelines.
- We work independently and with a can-do attitude while following instructions and supporting the team.
- We contribute to new feature development when required.
