Technical Support Specialist — LLM API

Discussion

Summary

Technical Support Specialist who troubleshootes API issues, manages customer inquiries via Slack/email, and maintains the LLM model catalog for an AI platform.

Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech & SaaS company building products that help businesses manage and optimize their software spend. We’re also building LLMAPI.ai — an API platform that gives businesses access to multiple AI models through a single integration.

We’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join the LLM API team. This is a non-development role for someone who is technically curious, learns quickly, and enjoys helping people solve problems.

You’ll work closely with customers who use our API, help investigate technical issues, and support the day-to-day operations of our growing AI model catalog.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor customer questions and requests coming through Slack and email

  • Investigate and troubleshoot API-related issues and help customers understand what is happening

  • Work with the team to identify and escalate more complex technical problems

  • Keep customers updated and make sure their issues are properly followed through to resolution

  • Support the operational side of the LLM catalog: new models, model updates, availability changes, etc.

  • Use the admin panel to manage and communicate catalog updates to customers

  • Prepare and send customer communications about new models and important changes

  • Help maintain internal documentation and FAQs for recurring technical questions

  • Identify recurring issues and suggest ways to improve support processes and automation

What we’re looking for:

  • Good technical understanding — you don’t need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable understanding how APIs, models and technical systems work

  • Understanding of LLMs and AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and the difference between models and providers

  • Understanding of basic API concepts: requests, responses, API keys, errors, latency, etc.

  • General understanding of how AI agents and AI automations work

  • Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn new tools quickly

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Ability to explain technical things clearly and simply

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle several requests at the same time

What we offer:

  • Competitive compensation with regular performance reviews

  • Paid vacation and sick leave

  • Paid overtime

  • Online medical consultation services

  • Opportunity to work with AI products and learn directly from a technical team

  • Career growth opportunities as the LLM API product grows

Join the growth!
