Technical Team Manager leading a cross-functional team of frontend and backend developers building Shiji's distributed hotel technology platform of domain-oriented microservices. Day to day combines people leadership (mentoring, reviews, sprint planning) with architecture and code quality oversight on a C#/.NET 9, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Docker stack. Software you will be working on is distributed technology
platform with set of functionalities for hotels, restaurants, spa, golf and
more.
Your job will be to lead a cross-functional development team
working on a system which consists of many domain-oriented microservices. You
will guide and mentor both frontend and backend developers while bringing a
smile on the faces of thousands of people working in hotels across the
globe.
- We
work in iterations with refinements, plannings and retrospective
meetings
- We use
Gitlab to sync the code with develop and master branches, and create
feature branch for each User Story
- We
commit daily and use CI/CD using Gitlab/Jenkins
- We
open merge requests and conduct code reviews before merge
- We use
docker and docker compose for local development and deployment of all
microservices
- We use
Teams to communicate and participate in meetings with other team
members
- We
cooperate with UI/UX department to provide user the best possible looks
and feel of application
- We
create internal packages (NPM, Nuget) to share work with others and avoid
repetitions
- We
develop API first-platform with focus on integrations and user
experience

Requirements
- Minimum
6 years' experience in software development with at least 2 years in a
leadership or team lead role
- Proven
experience leading, mentoring and growing cross-functional development
teams
- Strong
project management skills with ability to plan, execute and deliver
projects on time
- Experience
managing Agile/Scrum teams and facilitating ceremonies
- Excellent
communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong
problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural and strategic
decisions
- Knowledge
of C#, .NET and Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience
with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Understanding
of Domain Driven Design (DDD), CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns
- Experience
with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (Redis, Elastic
Search)
- Familiarity
with message brokers (Kafka) and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency
with Docker, containerization and cloud environments
- Strong
understanding of REST API design and integration patterns
- Experience
with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab)
- Understanding
of design patterns, SOLID principles and clean code practices
- Experience
with code review processes and quality assurance
- Fluent
English, both written and spoken
