Technical Writer
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation to accurately reflect current engineering processes and business operations.
- Identify key information sources, extract relevant technical content, and translate complex processes into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle, including facilitation of review, approval, and release of engineering documents, work instructions, and technical bulletins.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product information to ensure documentation is accurate, concise, and easy to understand for internal users and customers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure alignment and consistency of documentation standards.
- Conduct training sessions or knowledge transfer using developed documentation for equipment, processes, or system upgrades where required.
- Ensure documentation complies with internal quality standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline; certification in Technical Writing will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing within a high-tech, manufacturing, or new product development environment.
- Strong ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel when required.
