Technician 2, Equipment Maintenance

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT

• Perform all aspects of Equipment maintenance activities/tasks to minimize downtime.
• Familiar with machine operating system and able to troubleshoot the manufacturing machines.
• Preventive maintenances are properly carried out and recorded.
• Equipment breakdown is properly repair and at the best available time.
• Make work improvement to reduce the downtime of critical machine.
• All equipment spare parts are properly stored and recorded.
  

TECHNICAL LEARNING AND SHARING

• Through the daily activities, create the “One Point Lesson” to record and sharing the good things to team.
  

5S AND IMPROVEMENT

• Do the housekeeping and keep the workplace clean at all-time.
• Propose the improvement idea and Kaizen to improve the working condition, reduce losses and saving cost.
• Be a member of improvement’s projects

EHS AND SECURITY

• Follow and compliance the Environment-Health-Safety requirements strictly.
• Feedback on safety and security behaviour with other team members.

Education & Experience

• Vocational Intermediate Level or College Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Heat-Refrigeration or equivalent specialisations.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment, repair and preventive maintenance
  machine.
• Familiar with manufacturing environment.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
