Technician / Assistant Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Maintenance Engineer to join our team! This is a great entry-level role for those looking to start their career.
You will assist with the daily maintenance and servicing of semiconductor automation equipment (such as robotics, controllers, and aligners).
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the routine maintenance, cleaning, and simple repair of equipment and components (robotics, controllers, etc.) in our workshop.
* Follow senior engineers to customer sites (Wafer Fabs) within Singapore to assist with equipment installation, setups, or simple troubleshooting.
* Service and support local wafer fab customers and industry partners within Singapore.
* Flexibility to work overtime on weekdays or weekends occasionally to support customer emergency requests (overtime pay provided).
Requirements
* No prior work experience required! Open to all beginners.
* Graduates or students from Engineering, Mechanical, or any technical-related fields are welcome to apply.
* We welcome evening students who can work full-time during the day. We can coordinate and adjust working hours to match your school schedule.
* Must be comfortable entering the cleanroom and wearing full cleanroom attire (bunny suit) at customer sites.
* Basic Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is required, as the role will need to liaise with our regional team and support customers from Singapore, China, and Taiwan, including handling technical cross-referencing of manuals.
