Technician / Associate Engineer /Manufacturing Specialist| MNC Semiconductor

Our client is a leading global semiconductor manufacturing company specializing in advanced semiconductor technologies. They are expanding their operations and are looking for motivated individuals to join their growing team.

Position: Technician / Associate Engineer / Manufacturing Specialist (Wafer Sort & Final Test)
Location: North Region
Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shift (3–4 working days per week)
Employment Type : Permanent Role

Responsibilities

Technician / Associate Engineer

  • Perform equipment maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Support machine conversion, device setup, and production line sustaining.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and support equipment evaluations, qualifications, and New Product Introduction (NPI).

  • Assist Process Engineers with recipe setup, process qualification, engineering builds, yield improvement, and productivity enhancement.

  • Collect engineering data and troubleshoot process-related issues.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Automation, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Manufacturing Specialist (Wafer Sort & Final Test)

  • Perform production equipment setup and support handler/prober conversion activities.

  • Troubleshoot handler and prober equipment to minimize production downtime.

  • Monitor equipment performance and provide operational support during production.

  • Escalate technical issues and provide guidance to production operators when required.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce conversion time, and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Technician: NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.

  • Associate Engineer: Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.

  • Relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.

  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing PPE.
