Equipment operation
operate equipment and infrastructure and ensure the installations performtheir functions optimally. To do this, they may read manuals or even undergospecialised training. Technicians may also teach other people how to use theequipment. For example, when a company instals a new networking infrastructureand the users don't know how to use it to connect to the internet, a technicianis usually the one who shows them how the equipment works. Equipment operationcan also involve collaborating with colleagues, such as other technical staff.
