πŸš‘ What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Technician, you'll install, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on ambulances and other emergency vehicles. From warning lights and power systems to critical low-voltage components, you'll play a direct role in ensuring these vehicles leave our facility ready to perform when lives are on the line.

Your Day May Include:

βœ” Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues

βœ” Installing and wiring 12VDC and 120VAC electrical systems

βœ” Repairing or replacing wiring, switches, lights, and electrical components

βœ” Testing systems for proper operation, safety, and compliance

βœ” Collaborating with technicians and mechanics to ensure vehicle readiness

βœ” Troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems

βœ” Providing technical support to customers and team members

βœ” Staying current on evolving electrical technologies and best practices

βœ” Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment

You're not afraid of wiring diagrams, voltage testing, or solving problems others can't figure out.

Qualifications:

βœ” 2+ years of experience working with electrical wiring and systems

βœ” Strong understanding of 12VDC and 120VAC electrical systems

βœ” Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems

βœ” Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment

βœ” Knowledge of electrical safety standards and wiring best practices

βœ” Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

ADA Requirements:

β€’ Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move for extended periods of time.

β€’ Occasional repetitive motion and grasping

β€’ Occasional climbing to reach areas.

β€’ Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently.

β€’ Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer.

β€’ Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection.
