Technician - Electrical

This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment, components and fixtures following all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program, journeyman license preferred
  • Experience 2 to 4 years in a manufacturing environment with the same or similar equipment, components
  • Extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one electricity.
  • Solid working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facility's electrical needs
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to be on call, including holidays, nights and weekends

Hourly wage range: $29.71-$33.95

ProAmpac's Norfolk, NY site is a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing rolls of specialty Kraft Paper from 100% recycled material.
