Technician
Summary
Maintain church facilities and equipment, coordinate repairs, and support events with AV, M&E, and logistical tasks.
Perform daily checks of all equipment, facilities and systems (M&E, AV, CCTV etc) to ensure everything is working efficiently
Assist the Facility Manager with coordinating contractors for scheduled maintenance and addressing any breakdowns or repairs as and when required
Provide logistical support for church events, collaborating with caretakers to ensure smooth setup including shifting of tables / chairs for internal and external users
To assist the facility manager in providing users on the proper use of the AV system for common areas
Provide hands–on support for sound and video crews during church events hosted at the church as and when required
Assist in checking of the general cleanliness/ hygiene within the church premises
Hands on to carry out in -house repair and maintenance jobs within the capacity to do so
Assist with columbarium duties as and when needed
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with handyman work, plumbing & sanitary /ACMV, AV, M&E systems, or similar equipment is essential
- Time management and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external users
- Taking ownership for all tasks assigned including daily operational duties.
- Reliable, proactive, available for work on half day on Saturdays and Sundays, and events, including adjustment of work timing hours and off day if required.
- Candidate must possess at least a GCE O’ levels /Professional Certificate/NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 3 to 5 years of related experience
