Technician (Heavy Vehicle)
Salary: Up to $4.3k + AWS
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am– 5.30pm, Alternate Saturday, 8.30am – 12.30pm
Location: Tuas
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repairs, overhaul, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on heavy vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with quality standards.
- Accurately record repair details, labour hours, and recommended spare parts in work orders.
- Support warranty claim processes and ensure the proper handling and documentation of warranty parts.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Team Leader on repair progress and provide guidance to junior technicians when required.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- NITEC in Automotive Technology, former NTC 2/3 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics, Diploma in Automotive Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with relevant heavy vehicle maintenance or automotive servicing experience are preferred.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
