Summary

Maintains and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a medical device manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and operational reliability.

Join a team responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, and fully operational facility environment within a medical device manufacturing setting. This role focuses on advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to healthcare standards. You will support day-to-day facility operations while contributing to preventive maintenance and infrastructure improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs for building systems, including emergency power and specialized equipment
  • Respond to facility service requests and resolve issues within defined response timelines
  • Install, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and equipment used in manufacturing environments
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and healthcare facility standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate and monitor external service providers to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
  • Support facility modifications, space planning activities, and emergency response readiness

What You Will Need

  • Associate degree in Facilities, Engineering, or a related technical field (technical degree)
  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance within a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
  • Certification or formal training related to electrical, mechanical, or building systems
  • Experience using maintenance management systems for preventive maintenance tracking
