Performs daily maintenance, repairs, and safety checks on hotel systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) while collaborating with contractors and guest-facing teams in a 4-day workweek role.
How does your working day look like ...
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and minor cosmetic repairs
- Ensuring the careful handling of hotel equipment and machinery
- Ensuring the smooth operation of all technical systems and carrying out repairs as required, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Working closely with and supervising external contractors
- Supporting and managing technical projects
- Conducting safety inspections and regular site walkthroughs
- Taking part in the on-call duty rota
- Participating in daily operational team briefings
- Working respectfully and collaboratively within the team
Your personality counts more than your CV ...
- You have completed vocational training in a technical trade (e.g. electrical engineering, HVAC, plumbing, mechatronics or a comparable field) and ideally gained initial experience in a hotel or facilities environment.
- You have a solid understanding of building systems and enjoy troubleshooting and finding practical solutions.
- You take pride in keeping technical equipment, facilities and guest areas in excellent condition.
- You enjoy not only working behind the scenes but also interacting with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- You are able to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment.
- You are reliable, proactive and enjoy taking ownership of your responsibilities.
- You bring not only your technical skills but also your personality and team spirit.
