Technician: Master Certified - North Austin Nissan

This individual will be onboarded and complete training at our First Texas Honda dealership and then move to North Austin Nissan once the store opens on July 1st!
We are always on the hunt for a Master Technician superstar! Master Technicians are responsible for acting as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and procedures. Master Technicians also provide leadership and direction to other members of the Service Department. We proudly offer 50 hours per pay period GUARANTEED through the end of 2026 and a $10,000 sign-on bonus!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
- Responsible for maintaining all manufacturer self-studies
- Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame
- Perform advanced removal and replacement diagnostic work on Nissan vehicles
- Oversee and signing off on repairs completed by other technicians
- Required to hold a valid State Inspector's license
- Offer training and guidance to other technicians
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must demonstrate utmost care for all vehicle repairs performed
Shop Hours:
- Flexibility in scheduling within the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Saturday
Compensation is based on experience:
- ASE Master Techs starting at $45.00 flat rate
- Nissan Certified Master Techs starting at $45.00 flat rate
- Potential to earn up to $55 per flat rate with all certifications and production bonuses
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- *Not eligible for transfers or rehires. Paid over the first year of employment. Must be with the dealership for 1 year to get the full signing bonus.
