Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Tests: Check low-voltage switchboards, power distribution boards, wiring systems, and circuit assemblies.
- Use Diagnostic Tools: Operate multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and current injection test sets.
- Find and Fix Faults: Troubleshoot electrical issues and check for loose connections or damaged parts.
- Document Results: Write clear test reports and keep track of tool calibration.
- Follow Safety Rules: Adhere to safety standards and perform quality checks like visual inspections and torque tests.
- Job Requirements
- Education: A technical certificate, NITEC, or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
