Technician, Project

Reporting to the Project Manager, your role is to support the installation of cables and other equipment to ensure timely completion of projects. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are able to work as a team or independently. Your job responsibilities are not limited to the following:

• Working in a team to support the installation of Cables, Equipment Mounting, UPS, Cable Connection and Termination Work.
• Supporting the team with Troubleshooting Task
• Ensure that personal security complies with established safety guidelines.
• Assist with documentation for end user
• Maintain tools, motor vehicles and test equipment.
• Conduct routine upholding of equipment inclusive of repairs and adjustments.
• Perform housekeeping duties and ensure store is upkept at all times.
• Standby duty might be required.

Requirements

• N or O Level or NITEC
• Experience with fibre or copper cabling will be beneficial
• Class 3 driving licence preferred
