Technician (Technical in Waterproof)
Summary
On-site technician provides hands-on support for waterproofing projects, troubleshooting leaks and ensuring correct application of materials while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Support: Assist contractors and applicators with surface checks, mock-ups, and correct product mixing or layer application.
- Product Demonstrations: Run live technical demos for systems
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose dampness, leaks, or substrate failure and recommend corrective chemical treatments.
- Technical Reporting: Document site visits, material usage, and test results for internal R&D or sales teams.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow regional building codes and job-site safety rules.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on work in construction or waterproofing.
- Knowledge: Understanding of concrete substrates, moisture mitigation, and waterproofing materials.
- Skills: Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical data sheets, and communicate clearly with trade teams.
- Education: High school diploma or a vocational trade certificate in building or construction.
