  • Work closely with the Executive Team to support planning, budgeting and organisational priorities

  • Manage technology vendors, contracts, service providers and technology-related projects

  • Maintain technology-related business continuity, disaster recovery and testing arrangements

  • Support quality systems, risk management and continuous improvement activities

  • Support the responsible application of AI technologies and maintain appropriate governance and guardrails

About You

You are a practical, collaborative and solutions-focused leader who can confidently work across executive discussions, audit requirements and technical environments.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating technology, cyber security or information security functions

  • Experience maintaining an Information Security Management System and supporting ISO 27001 certification or similar governance frameworks

  • Strong understanding of cyber security operations, information security controls and risk management

  • Knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and its application within a business environment

  • Experience conducting risk assessments and managing risk treatment activities

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Experience managing projects, service providers and technology vendors

  • The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

  • A collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable

  • Qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Systems or a related discipline

  • Industry certifications in information security, cyber security, project management or service management

  • Experience working in a regulated, government-funded or multi-site environment

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune or similar cloud-based platforms

  • Experience in software development of client management systems
