About the role
Reporting into the Product and Delivery function, you'll act as a critical bridge between the business and technology teams. You'll work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, testers and external vendors to understand business needs, define problems, assess options and translate requirements into clear, practical and deliverable outcomes. A key focus of the role will be supporting ERP and broader supply chain, logistics and distribution processes, making this an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with experience across operationally complex environments. You'll enjoy breaking down complex problems, improving processes and helping to ensure technology solutions deliver meaningful operational, customer and commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners and technology teams to understand business needs, define problems and prioritise requirements.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional requirements and supporting documentation.
Conduct current-state and future-state process mapping to identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Analyse and improve ERP-enabled business processes across areas including order management, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
Support discovery and shaping activities for new initiatives, including impact assessments, option analysis and feasibility input.
Act as a key liaison between business users, developers, testers, vendors and project teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT coordination, defect triage and release readiness.
Assist with change and implementation activities, including training materials, support guides, release notes and post-implementation reviews.
Drive continuous improvement across requirements, documentation, delivery practices and business processes.
About you
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within a technology, digital, systems or business improvement environment.
Experience working with ERP platforms, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle or similar.
Strong experience or exposure to supply chain, logistics, distribution, inventory management, warehousing, freight or order fulfilment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex business needs into clear and practical requirements.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including senior business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, testers and vendors.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience supporting Agile delivery, including requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement and UAT.
Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar platforms.
The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to work through ambiguity and drive outcomes independently.
