As a Technology Controls & Assurance Senior Manager, you will be supporting the Technology Controls & Assurance Director to ensure that technology, security and data controls are documented, assessed, and managed effectively across the firm. You will build strong relationships throughout the business which will enable you to successfully manage and execute control testing and reporting ensuring control weaknesses, risks and issues are managed in accordance with the firm's risk appetite.

What you’ll do:

  • Take a leading role to ensure that technology, security and data controls are documented, assessed, and managed effectively across the firm and aligned with the firm's strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with control owners to identify gaps and drive improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management.

  • Managing and executing the evaluation of design and operational effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with the Control Assurance Framework

  • Escalating and reporting on risks, control weaknesses, incidents and issues that remain unmitigated or outside of risk appetite.

  • Driving enhancements to the Technology controls & assurance frameworks and practices.

  • Providing expertise and guidance vertically and horizontally in IT governance, risk management, controls and assurance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience in technology risk, controls, audits/ assurance disciplines, with a proven track record in successfully performing control testing, identifying control gaps, and providing remediation strategies aligned with the firm’s risk appetite and objectives.

  • In-dept knowledge of audit, assurance, and risk management processes, along with strong knowledge of technology risk, governance, and control frameworks.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders towards positive outcomes.

  • Effective and meaningful reporting skills.
