Technology Delivery Manager

Retail Technology | Laverton North | Hybrid | Permanent

Project Manager. Business Analyst. Applications Manager.

If you've done a bit of all three — and you're still someone who likes actually doing the work — this could be right up your street.

We're partnering with one of Australia and New Zealand's largest privately owned agricultural retail businesses as they continue a significant investment across technology, digital and data.

With around 50 stores, multiple retail brands and an integrated logistics operation, there's a genuinely interesting technology landscape underneath the business.

ERP. POS. WMS. Integrations. APIs. Data. Digital products. Infrastructure.

And plenty happening.

The Role

We're looking for a Technology Delivery Manager to sit within a lean seven-person technology team and help drive a portfolio of business-critical projects.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your week herding stakeholders, updating a RAID log and waiting for someone else to do the work.

You'll get your hands dirty.

One day you could be running a discovery workshop with Supply Chain. The next you're working through requirements for an ERP change, challenging a vendor on an integration, coordinating UAT or preparing a decision for SteerCo.

You'll operate somewhere between Project Management, Business Analysis and Applications Management, owning delivery from initial discovery through to go-live.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll:

  • Deliver multiple concurrent technology and business transformation projects.
  • Run discovery workshops and requirements sessions across Retail, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Logistics and Marketing.
  • Translate business problems into practical technology solutions.
  • Work across ERP, POS, WMS, APIs, middleware, SaaS platforms, data and digital products.
  • Produce requirements, process maps, user stories and UAT scenarios when required.
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, releases and business readiness.
  • Manage software vendors, MSPs, contractors and implementation partners.
  • Own project timelines, risks, dependencies and budgets.
  • Challenge scope, vendors and stakeholders when something doesn't stack up.
  • Identify opportunities for better processes and systems without waiting to be asked.
  • Use modern AI tools to work faster across documentation, analysis, communications and delivery.

There's governance involved, of course.

But this is not a governance role.

You're ultimately here to make things happen.

Who We're Looking For

Retail experience is essential.

You'll ideally have around 5–10 years of Project Management experience, but your background doesn't need to be purely PM.

In fact, we'd love to speak with people who've moved between:

Project Management | Business Analysis | Applications | ERP / Systems | Technology Delivery

You'll have delivered projects involving some combination of ERP, POS, WMS, integrations, APIs, infrastructure, digital products or data.

You don't need to be a developer, but the more technically curious you are, the better.

Most importantly, you're still on the tools.

You're happy running the workshop, writing the requirement, talking to the vendor, investigating the problem and driving the thing through to completion.

We're not looking for someone who has spent the last decade managing increasingly large programs from further and further away from the actual delivery.

We're looking for a retail technology doer.

Why Join?

You'll get:

  • A broad technology landscape with genuine commercial impact.
  • Direct access to senior leadership and decision makers.
  • A lean team where good ideas can actually get implemented.
  • Hybrid working based around trust and outcomes.
  • Free onsite parking in Laverton North.
  • Funded learning, certifications and professional development.
  • The opportunity to influence how technology delivery operates as the business continues to grow.

If you like structure but hate bureaucracy, understand retail and still enjoy rolling your sleeves up and solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.
