Technology Product Owner

Role Purpose

Hilti is seeking an experienced Technology Product Portfolio Coordination Lead - E-Commerce to coordinate HDMS contributions to technology product roadmaps, architecture alignment, and delivery activities for the digital commerce ecosystem, under the functional leadership, guidance, final decision-making, and control of the Head of eCommerce & AI Technology at HIBAG/HQ.

The role works closely with the Business Chief Product Owner and relevant HIBAG/HQ stakeholders, providing analysis, recommendations, coordination, and execution support. The role contributes to digital growth, customer experience, and eCommerce outcomes without owning group strategy, group P&L, or final cross-entity decisions.

What the Role Involves

• Contributing to the development and communication of product vision and roadmap activities for technology platforms in alignment with agreed business objectives and architectural direction.
• Translating business and technical requirements into clear, outcome‑oriented backlog items
• Support prioritization activities to balance business value, technical health, scalability considerations, and delivery risks in line with agreed priorities.
• Coordinate and refine assigned backlog items to support delivery readiness and technical coherence.

• Collaborating closely with engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders
• Making informed trade‑offs between speed, quality, reliability, and long‑term maintainability
• Support continuous value delivery through iterative releases, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement activities.
• Using system performance, usage data, and feedback to guide product decisions
• Support the integration of solutions into the broader technology ecosystem in alignment with agreed architectural standards and guidance from relevant HQ stakeholders.

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience as a Product Owner in technology‑heavy or platform environments
• Strong understanding of Agile practices and technical product delivery
• Ability to connect business outcomes with technical solutions
• Solid stakeholder management across IT and business functions
• Data‑informed decision‑making mindset
• Strong technical understanding to assess feasibility and implications
• Comfort operating in complex, interdependent system landscapes
