About Us

The Chancery in Lismore provides support services to the Catholic Diocese of Lismore. The Diocese extends from Tweed Heads to Laurieton and supports parishes and a diverse range of ministries including health, aged and community care.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Technology Services Support Specialist to join our ICT Team in Lismore.

Working within the Service Desk, you will provide first-line Technology and Business Systems support to clients across a diverse range of sites and services.

This is a client-focused role suited to someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems and developing their technology skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line Technology and Business Systems support.

  • Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, Microsoft 365 and other supported technologies.

  • Assist users with supported Business Systems and applications.

  • Manage incidents and requests through the ICT Service Management system.

  • Assist with user onboarding, offboarding and account administration.

  • Provide onsite and remote support to users.

  • Maintain ICT documentation and asset information.

  • Work collaboratively with the broader ICT Team and external providers.

  • Participate in the ICT after-hours on-call roster as required.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience providing IT support in a Service Desk, Help Desk or similar end-user support environment.

  • Relevant IT qualifications are desirable.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows and end-user technology.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn.

  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to Diocesan sites when required.

  • Availability to participate in the after-hours on-call roster.
