The Technology Solution Architect serves as a trusted technical advisor to clients and stakeholders, helping organizations identify, evaluate, design, and implement innovative technology solutions that address complex business and mission challenges. They have 10 years of architecting system and/or cloud solutions in a complex technology environment.
Arc Aspicio is currently working in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and occasionally remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior government clients, architects, engineers, and program leadership
- Assess organizational missions, business processes, and technical environments to identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and operational improvement
- Develop technology strategies, modernization roadmaps, and solution concepts that align with mission objectives and organizational priorities
- Evaluate emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, cloud-native capabilities, advanced analytics, and digital services platforms
- Design end-to-end technical solutions leveraging commercial, open-source, cloud-native, and government technologies
- Lead architecture discussions across application, infrastructure, data, interoperability, cybersecurity, and integration domains
- Facilitate technical workshops and strategy sessions with executives, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
- Conduct technology assessments, proof-of-concept activities, trade studies, and solution evaluations to determine technical feasibility and business value
- Advise clients on enterprise architecture, digital transformation, legacy modernization, cloud adoption, and technology governance
- Collaborate with development, engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions
- Develop architecture artifacts, technical recommendations, implementation strategies, and executive-level presentations
- Assess market trends, technology innovations, and industry best practices to identify opportunities that improve mission performance
- Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the solution lifecycle, from concept development through deployment and sustainment
- Consult with business, mission, and technical stakeholders to align requirements with achievable and scalable technical solutions
- Support additional technology innovation, business development, and strategic initiatives as requested
- Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
- Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
- Act as a steward of the company, helping the company offer solutions to new clients and support new business, company strategic functions, and operational initiatives - building understanding of a consulting firm and helping the company grow
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, systems engineering, technical strategy, or enterprise architecture
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and apply emerging technologies to solve complex business and mission challenges
- Experience working directly with senior executives, technical leadership, and stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Experience developing solution architectures, modernization strategies, technology roadmaps, or enterprise technology strategies
- Broad knowledge across multiple technology domains, including cloud services, applications, systems integration, cybersecurity, AI/ML, data platforms, and enterprise architecture
- Experience evaluating and recommending commercial, government, and open-source technologies
- Experience supporting Federal Government technology programs
- Demonstrated capability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving technology environments
- Proven ability to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
- Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
- Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations
- Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). Currently holds a Public Trust level clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust/Federal security clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Critical Skills: Executive presence, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, collaborative mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

Total Rewards: Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $125,000 - $155,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
