Technical support position providing support for technology and

equipment to the DHH Program located in Norton, MA and DHH classroom in Bristol-Plymouth High School in Taunton, MA.

This position will also oversee the data systems/software management for both the READS Academy and the DHH programs.

1. Oversees Department of Elementary and Secondary Education State Reporting
2. Provides technical support to the DHH Program responding and follow-up to all user requests in a timely manner.
3. Maintain and repair hardware, including both in-warranty and out-of-warranty equipment for the DHH Program
4. Assist in the coordination, setup, and installation of all new or updated client hardware and software, and follow procedures in place to comply with all software license agreements.
5. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks as directed.
6. Provide technical advice and assistance to users, assist staff in the collaborative, and assist with installation, operation and maintenance of instructional applications and devices.
7. Make hardware recommendations to the Director of Technology as needed.
8. Assist in maintaining an accurate and current inventory of all technology hardware and software.
9. Work on special projects as assigned by the Director of Technology and/or READS Academy Program Director
10. Remain current on industry trends in information technology.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
12. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various locations as required to perform assigned duties. The employee must be physically capable of performing all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical demands may include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and assisting with the physical management of technology hardware.
