Technology Technician/Process Engineer
Summary
Maintains and optimizes manufacturing equipment and processes in a factory setting, troubleshooting breakdowns, leading improvement projects, and analyzing production data to boost efficiency and quality.
1/Technical & Operation Work:
- Handle machine breakdown/quality, any daily operation issues
- Receive and implement tasks/projects required
- PDCA for repeatable issues/high impact machine downtime
- Assess risks and plan for prevention
- Address bottlenecks, improve flow efficiency
- Control overhead/IME budget
2/ Project Management:
- Receiving, evaluating, and deploying product/FOD development from local/global from prepress
- Plan, tracking, update payments as planned
- IoT, MES, analog to digital, minimized manual works
- Upgrade, re-engineering,...
- Relayout, re-design, installation,...
3/ Improvement & Innovation:
- Streamline/standardize documents, processes, layouts, work operations,...
- Build training programs, evaluate worker levels (multi-skill, skill metrics, step-up cards)
- Promote Kaizen activities, research/study to promote actionable improvement ideas
4/ Data analysis:
- Control production indexes UEE, Scrap, UPLH
- Ensure data accuracy, display valuable information, real-time
- Anomaly alerts, providing good/bad data trends
- College/University about of relevant major
- 2-4 years previous experience required.
- Familiar with KPIs of maintenance expertise: MTTR, MTBF, AM, PM, etc.
- Certifications in specialty area required as applicable. Or acquire within specified timing any licensures necessary to perform job.
- Good mechanical/technical skills and logical problem solving skills necessary.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment with a highly participative work system.
- Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner necessary.
- Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.
