Techops Engineer

  • Deploy and manage production applications using CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Bit bucket.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and other AWS services.
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux operating systems and server environments.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Automate routine operational tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Configure and manage infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Handle incident management, problem management, and change management activities following ITIL best practices.
  • Monitor and respond to AWS service incidents, outages, and infrastructure alerts.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including operating procedures, architecture diagrams, inventory, and change records.
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and vendor solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure infrastructure security by implementing and managing firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS certificates, IAM policies, and credential management.
  • Collaborate with the TechOps team to architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based server, network, and storage infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call support and resolve critical production incidents as required.


Requirements

  • Strong experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket for CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
  • Good knowledge of AWS services, including. EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Cloudatch, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Bash and/or Python.
  • Strong understanding of networking and security concepts, including: Firewalls, VPNs, Security Certificates (SSL/TLS), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Credential Management.
  • Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
