Summary
HR Generalist role supporting Spain & Portugal with HR processes, administration, payroll coordination, and learning/development for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
PLEASE, NOTE: This is a fixed-term, 12-month position.
HR Generalist supports the implementation and delivery of key Human Resources activities for Spain & Portugal, with a strong focus on HR processes, HR administration, learning and development, and organizational initiatives. The role works closely with the HR team and business managers to ensure efficient, compliant, and people-centered HR processes, contributing to positive employee experience and supporting organizational growth.
Crucial actions are:
HR Processes Management
- Support the implementation and monitoring of key HR processes, including the management of HR systems.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analyses to support organizational decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely updating of HR data within company systems and databases.
HR Administration
- Manage employee lifecycle documentation, including hires, contract amendments, and terminations.
- Support the administration payroll interface.
- Collaborate with payroll providers and labor consultants to ensure accurate and compliant HR administration processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
Hiring & Onboarding
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Talent functions, recruitment agencies and other external partners.
- Support onboarding activities and facilitate the integration of new employees into the organization.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate and support corporate training initiatives and learning activities.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing training and development needs across the organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Humanities, or a related field.
- Minimun of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, personnel administration or similar generalist roles.
- Solid experience coordinating payroll processes with external providers, including the collection and validation of payroll inputs, review of payroll outputs and management of incidents.
- Experience managing and improving HR processes, as well as coordinating with multiple internal teams and external providers.
- Experience working in international or multinational environments, or in fast-growing organisations, with the ability to structure and scale processes.
- Knowledge of labor law and personnel administration processes.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and digital HR tools.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
