Telecommunications Infrastructure Intern

Location: Santa Fe, Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City | On-site

Position Overview

We are looking for a Telecommunications Infrastructure Intern to join our team and support network infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in telecommunications, IP networks, and network infrastructure to gain hands-on experience in a global technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support equipment testing and validation for routers, LAN switches, and Access Points (APs).
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and technical reports.
• Support the commissioning and acceptance of new network infrastructure.
• Assist with the monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to IP devices.
• Follow up on technical requirements and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams during network implementation and testing activities.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Systems, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field. Last year student (Graduation time 2027).
• Basic knowledge of IP networking and protocols, including:
• TCP/IP
• VLAN
• DHCP
• PPPoE
• OSPF / IS-IS / BGP
• Knowledge of the OSI Model.
• Basic knowledge of SNMP and OMCI protocols is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of OSS (Operations Support Systems) is desirable.
• Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate in English.
