Job Description

Our client is seeking a Training Admin Officer to be deployed to support the Basic Training School, Training Command.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full procurement cycle, which includes:

Putting up Purchase Requests (PRs) and following up to obtain the necessary approvals.
Liaising with vendors on the delivery of goods and services upon issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
Closing of Purchase Orders (POs) upon completion of delivery or services rendered.
Updating and maintaining budget expenditure records.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related discipline. Candidates with relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in procurement or administrative support involving procurement processes will be an advantage.
Experience with procurement processes within the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) cluster, particularly the Singapore Police Force (SPF), will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the Integrated Logistics Management System (iLMS) will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
