Description
Looking for a short-term role to earn extra cash during this holiday season? Join the hospital team as a Temporary Runner and support the transportation of surgical instrument sets between the Operating Theatre (OT) Department and designated collection point!
Job Responsibilities
Transport used Operating Theatre (OT) instrument sets from the department to the designated lorry collection point.
Collect sterilised instrument sets from the lorry upon their return and transport them back to the OT Department.
Ensure instrument sets are handled and transported safely using the provided trolley.
Perform collection and transportation runs at approximately 2–3 hour intervals throughout the day.
Assist with other related runner / logistical duties when required.
Follow hospital safety and operational procedures at all times.
Requirements
Minimum GCE N/O or A Level
Comfortable pushing a loaded trolley weighing approximately 60–80kg.
Able to handle and transport items carefully and safely.
Responsible, punctual and able to follow instructions
