Norfolk Iron & Metal is looking for a Quality Technician to join our Temper Mill team. No previous lab or testing experience is required. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with equipment, and willing to learn, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll test steel samples, operate specialized equipment, and help make sure our products meet customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Operate testing equipment to verify products meet customer requirements
• Prepare samples for testing
• Operate equipment including a water jet and precision grinder
• Help maintain testing and department equipment
• Accurately follow testing and quality procedures
• Cross-train in other positions to expand your skills
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
