Temporary Full-time Accounting Officer II

Department/Cluster\: Finance Division, Kowloon East Cluster
Pay\: HK$32,430 [HGPS Point 13] (Please see Remarks 2)

Key Responsibilities\:
1. Assist in the development of policy and responsible for the operations of different functional areas of the FinanceDivision at corporate, cluster or hospital level.
These areas include but not limit to the following-
-Healthcare financing policy development
-Government subvention and reporting
-Budget planning and management
-Financial accounting and operations
-Revenue management
-Service costing
-Financial control, services and support
-Treasury and risk management
Financial systems development
2. The typical duties may include\:
(a) Perform data collection and information analysis.
(b) Provide a wide range of financial services, such as financial accounting, financial management, revenuemanagement, service costing, budget planning and monitoring, treasury management, financial control etc.
(c) Prepare financial analysis, projection, management and performance reports.
(d) Support the operations of various finance functions.
(e) Maintain proper books and records and internal control system for various finance functions.
(f) Co-ordinate with other parties to support the performance of financial functions.
(g) Any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisors.

Entry Requirements\:
1. Possession of professional accounting qualification of a recognized professional accounting body. (See Remarks 2)
2. Proficiency in computing / PC skills, e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
3. Good command of written and spoken English.
4. Self-motivated, strong analytical ability and good interpersonal skills.

Preferable Attributes / Exposure\:
1. A university degree in finance-related discipline (e.g. Accountancy, Finance).
2. Fluent Cantonese and good written Chinese.
3. Proactive, strong adaptability to different work environments and drive to achieve excellence.
4. Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
