The Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown offers 168 beds for nursing home care. Two levels of care are offered: standard care for veterans in need of any intermediate level of care, and memory care for veterans with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. What You'll Do Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Under general supervision, cleans maintains restrooms, living facilities /or dining areas, offices (e.g., sweeps, mops, strips, buffs waxes floors; vacuums carpets; cleans glass mirrors; washes windows walls; scrubs sinks, countertops, toilets; cleans empties receptacles; dust varying surfaces; replenishes soap, toilet paper, paper towels) Responsible for exercising principles of infection control implements infection control policies procedures (e.g., wipes up spills fluids on floor; washes cleans resident beds other furniture; proper use of personal protective equipment) Checks on supplies; stocks supply closets Reports need for repair of equipment; reports evidence of fire, illegal entry theft of property Cleans offices (e.g., vacuums carpet, cleans dusts furniture, fixtures equipment; cleans empties trash receptacles) Performs any additional job-related duties as assigned Additional Information Placeholder
