Temporary OB Sonographer (PRN, 3 Weeks) | Glow Midwifery, Gilbert, AZ

About Glow Glow Midwifery is a women’s health practice in Gilbert that has cared for families for six years. We offer gynecology, preconception and early pregnancy care, IV therapy, and an in-house ultrasound suite that does both clinical OB/GYN imaging and boutique keepsake scans. Our space and our care are warm, personal and unhurried.

The role

Our sonographer will be out for three weeks and we need an experienced OB sonographer to cover. This is a short-term, flexible position: 2 to 3 days per week, 4 to 6 hours per day, scheduled around your availability.

Dates: December 1st through December 18th

What you’ll scan

Early viability and dating

Fetal anatomy, growth and repeat growth

Biophysical profiles and focused/limited OB exams

Pelvic ultrasound

Boutique scans: heartbeat, gender reveal and keepsake photoshoot sessions

What we’re looking for

RDMS credential with OB/GYN specialty (ARDMS), current and in good standing

At least 3 years of hands-on OB scanning experience, including independent anatomy scans

Confident, efficient and accurate, with clean documentation and measurements

Comfortable working GE Voluson machine

A genuinely warm, upbeat personality. Our boutique scans are celebrations: families bring partners, grandparents and kids, and we want them to leave feeling like it was a highlight of their pregnancy. You should love that part of the job, not just tolerate it.

Calm and kind when a scan brings unexpected findings, and clear about when to escalate to the provider
