Temporary Paint Production Worker

Job Summary: Works in Paint plant to produce industrial highway paint as part of an approved Florida Department of Corrections Transition Program for formerly incarcerated PRI inmate workers. Heavy physical work involved in moving paint chemicals and processed paint. Follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE. Work up to 18 months in plant and then move to new job. Follow all requirements stated in signed Agreement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
   
2. Measure ingredients or substances to be used in production processes.
   
3. Weigh finished products.
   
4. Mix substances to create chemical solutions.
   
5. Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
   
6. Load materials into production equipment.
   
7. Collect samples of materials or products for testing.
   
8. Test chemical or physical characteristics of materials or products.
   
9. Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas.
   
10. Record operational or production data.
11. Clean production equipment.
    
12. Maintain production or processing equipment by performing routine maintenance on equipment.
