TEMPORARY PRODUCT MARKETING EXECUTIVE (6 MONTHS)

Job Summary

This 6-month contract role supports maternity/extended leave coverage, offering hands-on experience in product marketing within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational effectiveness and efficiency for assigned products to support business goals
• Process quotations from the sales team and manage requests for quotations (RFQs) accurately
• Manage relationships and coordinate activities with key suppliers to ensure supply chain reliability
• Oversee inventory management and material planning, including inter-office cross-selling and clearance of slow-moving stock with traders
• Utilize supplier systems to support sales, customer service, and purchasing functions effectively
• Collaborate with purchasers and customer service teams to resolve critical delivery issues such as quality defects, pricing discrepancies, shortages, and Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
• Generate and analyze SAP reports (e.g., POS, forecast, stock, backlog) to provide actionable insights for suppliers
• Create new material master records (NPA) in SAP to maintain accurate product data
• Execute and manage Ship and Debit programs to support sales operations
• Track and monitor new project business hit rates across all sales offices to inform strategic decisions
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned to support team and operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience in direct sales or product management
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with working knowledge of SAP
• Experience in inventory management and supplier liaison is advantageous
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
• Capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with suppliers and internal teams
• Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiative at work
