Temporary QA Automation Engineer

Salary: ₱70,000 – ₱80,000 per month

Our portfolio includes MT Print, print-media processing at scale; MT Broadcast, broadcast monitoring and transcription; and MT Connect, the B2B marketplace set to transform how buyers and suppliers of international media content do business.

We are looking for a Temporary QA Automation Engineer to support our growing QA requirements across multiple projects. The role will focus primarily on test automation, while also supporting API testing, test utilities, and manual testing activities. The successful candidate will help increase QA capacity, reduce the backlog of completed development tasks awaiting testing, and expand automated regression test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright.

 Build and maintain automated regression test coverage.

 Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.

 Support API testing and develop test utilities where required.

 Perform manual testing for scenarios not yet covered by automation.

 Identify, document, and validate defects.

 Work closely with developers and project teams to support timely releases.

 Contribute to improving the QA automation framework and overall testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

 4–5 years of experience in QA Automation.

 Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright — mandatory.

 Experience with Cypress is an advantage.

 Strong experience in automated functional and regression testing.

 Experience with API testing.

 Good understanding of QA processes and software testing methodologies.

 Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
