Summary

Temporary role supporting Singapore’s central bank in international finance and policy, analyzing global financial trends and preparing briefings for global forums like IMF and G20.

In this role, you will be exposed to international financeand policy work. Depending on team placement and ongoing priorities, you may:

  • Support MAS’ participation in international financial fora (e.g. IMF, World Bank, FSB, G20-related work)
  • Conduct research and analysis on:
  • Global financial and economic developments
  • International regulatory and supervisory issues
  • Cross-border capital flows, financial stability, and payments
  • Help prepare:
  • Briefing notes for senior management
  • Background papers for international meetings
  • Comparative analyses of country or policy positions
  • Assist with coordination with:
  • Overseas central banks and regulators
  • International organisations and Singapore’s economic agencies

You will gain first-hand exposure to how internationalfinancial policy is shaped and how MAS positions itself in global discussions,including through the line-up of international events taking place in Q4 2026.

[What We Are Looking For]

· International relations, regulatory policy or supervisory experience would be an advantage

· Background in Economics, Political Science and International Relations would also be anadvantage.

· Stronganalytical skills and able to think strategically.

· Resilient, proactive, able to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

· Team player with good networking skills.

· Applicants who requires work pass sponsorship need not apply.

· You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability tomanage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility torespond to changes and developments.
