YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As the Temporary Corporate Relations Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting The Humane League’s efforts to engage with corporations and advance protections for animals in the food supply chain. You are motivated to make a difference in the lives of animals and have the passion to encourage corporate decision makers to do the same.
Your primary goal is to support and conduct outreach to bring issues of animal welfare to key decision makers at food companies and their business affiliates. Through research, data-management, and outreach, you will contribute to building relationships and advancing corporate commitments and policies on animal welfare. You are comfortable managing your day-to-day responsibilities independently while seeking guidance on more complex situations and collaborating closely with your team. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys research, relationship-building, persuasive communication and continuous learning while developing experience in corporate engagement, negotiation support, and advocacy work.
This position reports directly to the Sr. Corporate Relations Manager, US. This is a temporary full-time, remote position lasting one-year (12 months) in duration, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role at The Humane League’s discretion.
