Tender Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Lead tender process from pre-tender to submission, in compliance with requirements and deadlines.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BQ and contract requirements.
- Prepare tender pricing and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QS, Procurement and Project teams.
- Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Attend tender clarification meetings, negotiations and presentations with clients, consultants and relevant stakeholders.
- Contract award, project handover and commercial clarifications.
- Guide and mentor the tender team.
Requirements
- Degree in QS / Civil / Structural / Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in tendering within the construction industry.
- Experience with Main/ Sub Contractor in earth construction works/ marine & water projects/ infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, cost estimation and procurement.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD and tendering/ estimating software.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and contract documents.
- Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders within tight deadlines.
- Meticulous, organised and responsible.
