Tender Manager (Industrial)

Job Summary

The Tender Manager is responsible for managing all contractual, commercial, and financial aspects during the tender stage of construction projects. The role ensures that tender submissions are commercially sound, contractually compliant, and aligned with the company’s risk management strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end tender processes, including strategy, pricing review, and management approvals

  • Review Bills of Quantities, cost build-ups, and Schedule of Rates to ensure accuracy and market competitiveness

  • Analyse and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for technical and commercial compliance

  • Identify and assess contractual risks (LDs, payment terms, variations, design liability) across PSSCOC, SIA, and REDAS Contracts

  • Drive value engineering and alternative proposal development

  • Coordinate across internal teams; QS, Design, Planning, Procurement, and M&E

  • Oversee tender submissions, method statements, and construction programmes

  • Lead post-award contract reviews, ensuring LOA, contract documents, and BQ/SOR align with the company's tender offer

  • Conduct win/loss reviews and lead smooth handovers to project and contracts teams

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Law, or related discipline

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in main contractor tendering and contract management

  • Strong experience in building construction projects

  • Proven track record in tender contract review and risk management
