Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support our tendering and pre-contract activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, sourcing quotations, cost estimation, tender submissions, and contract administration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender submissions, including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, pricing schedules, and tender documentation.

  • Call for and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Establish unit rates and prepare cost analyses.

  • Complete tender appendices, schedules, and supporting documents.

  • Review tender specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.

  • Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost plans.

  • Liaise with project teams, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors during the tender stage.

  • Maintain tender records and ensure submissions are completed within deadlines.

  • Support contract administration and project cost control when required.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, or related discipline.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficient in Bluebeam, BIM, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good understanding of Singapore contractual regulations and standard forms of contract (PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently and meet tight tender deadlines.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant Singapore experience in pre-contract tendering.

  • Experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor will be an added advantage.
