What you'll do

What will you have to do?

The Territorial Underwriting Manager Central profile will be responsible for leading a team of non-life underwriters, coordinating and supervising said team to achieve the results set by the entity's management.

Some of the more specific functions of a Territorial Underwriting Manager Central - Madrid:

Analyze and underwrite risks in the case of specific operations due to the economic volume involved or the possible risks, in order to ensure compliance with internal regulations. Detect and seek out new market niches.

Monitor compliance with the objectives set by the company and define guidelines to correct deviations together with the Business Controller.

Accompany colleagues from the sales network on periodic visits to intermediaries.

Drive the professional development of the team to achieve the fulfillment of objectives, maximizing the contribution of value to the internal client and the contribution of value to the business, as well as promoting a management style aligned with Reale's values that facilitates the maintenance of a good working environment in the Center.

Analyze and underwrite risks in the case of specific operations due to the economic volume involved or the possible risks to ensure compliance with internal regulations.

What we're looking for

We are looking for professionals with a university degree related to a Technical Underwriting Department: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Sciences, or Engineering

Regarding experience, at least 5 years of experience in the position or a similar one is required, as well as knowledge of underwriting policies in the insurance sector.

Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required.

Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.

The most notable competencies for good performance in the position will be high execution, strategic vision, and people development, orientation toward Internal and External Clients, and self-development.

Nice to have

Having a Disability Certificate of 33% or higher will be valued.
