Territory Rental Sales Representative – Cranes
Territory: North Texas & Oklahoma
Scott-Macon Equipment is looking for an experienced, motivated Territory Rental Sales Representative to join our team, covering North Texas and Oklahoma. This position is responsible for developing new rental opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and growing our crane rental business throughout the assigned territory.
Compensation: Base Salary Starting at $50,000 Annually + Commission
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and move about job sites and equipment. Some heavy physical effort required. Must be able to lift up to 25 lb. Will regularly be exposed to noise, heat, dust, and fumes around facilities and job sites. Extreme weather conditions possible, at times. Must be able to drive a vehicle for local travel.

Position Responsibilities

- Develop new rental business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships throughout North Texas and Oklahoma.
- Promote crane rental solutions to customers within the assigned territory.
- Identify customer equipment needs and recommend appropriate rental solutions.
- Prepare rental quotes, negotiate opportunities, and secure rental agreements.
- Conduct regular customer visits, prospect for new business, and build long-term relationships.
- Work closely with the Rental, Service, and Operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales activity reports and follow up on rental opportunities.
- Travel throughout North Texas and Oklahoma to meet with customers and develop business.
- 3–5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in crane rentals, construction equipment rentals, or a related industry.
- Proven ability to generate new business, manage customer relationships, and close rental opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout North Texas and Oklahoma.
- College degree preferred but not required.
