This is a remote, field-based position serving the New England territory. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, growing sales within the assigned territory, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting existing accounts. This role requires a strong focus on relationship building, account development, and consistent in-person customer engagement throughout the territory.

Position Overview:
The Territory Sales Representative will be results-driven with the ability to manage and grow our customer base in the hearth (fireplace) and outdoor living industry. This remote position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building client relationships, and enjoys the flexibility of working independently while meeting aggressive sales goals. Continued growth will be achieved through the expansion of our dealer network while also continuing to bolster our existing customers with a passion for world-class customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales goals by strategically partnering with existing dealers and establishing new accounts.
- Cultivate B2B relationships with decision makers at all levels. Targeting brick and mortar locations as well as specialized Home Builders and Contractors.
- Develop, communicate, and monitor territory business plans and provide updates to the leadership team.
- Strengthen sales by providing exceptional product knowledge and technical training.
- Be the product expert to strengthen dealer's product knowledge through training and coaching.
- Ability to solve problems, responsiveness, and an overall approach dedicated to customer service.
- Provide input to the leadership team. Assist in increasing sales and profits.
- Attend dealer events, regional shows, and national shows, that promote our Distributing products to potential dealers, and contractors.
- Work week includes Monday (Admin Day), Tuesday - Friday on the road travel calling on current and potential dealers. Minimum 8-10 overnights per month. Some Saturdays based on dealer's needs for weekend events.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Account management or territory sales experience.
- Track record of success achieving goals while providing exceptional customer service and follow-up.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills (including overnight travel), schedule appointments and build relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must reside within the territory (Midwest).

Physical Activities:
Daily activity includes but is not limited to:
- Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
- Ability to sit or drive for extended periods while traveling between client/customer locations.
- Frequent communication via phone, email, and in-person.
- Reading, communication, and math.
- Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
