Infinity Pro is seeking three Test Analysts / Functional Automation Testers to join an established Federal Government digital delivery program in Canberra.

You will work within a high-performing testing practice supporting an inflight digital portal program, performing both manual and automated testing across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.

This is not a purely manual testing role. Strong candidates will have genuine experience developing and maintaining UI automation and API/integration test suites, with automated tests integrated into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Essential Experience

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications
• Experience testing Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse solutions
• Strong functional, system, integration, regression and UAT testing experience
• Ability to analyse requirements and develop effective test scenarios and test cases
• Strong experience designing, developing and maintaining automated UI regression tests
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or comparable automation frameworks
• Strong API and integration testing experience
• Experience using tools such as Postman / Newman, REST Assured or Playwright API testing
• Experience testing REST APIs, authentication flows and integrated enterprise services
• Experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, defect management and test management
• Working knowledge of VS Code
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery
• Ability to work independently and move effectively between multiple projects and priorities

These requirements reflect client’s stated need for automation across both UI and backend/API layers, rather than automation in only one area.

Highly regarded but not essential

• ISTQB Automation Certification or similar
• Deeper technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 / Dataverse / Power Platform
• Experience testing Dataverse plugins or custom APIs
• Azure API Management policy validation
• Power Platform environment configuration, variables and secrets
• Power BI testing
• Experience with Jira alongside Azure DevOps
• Current Baseline security clearance

Candidates who can obtain Baseline may still be considered, although current clearance holders are preferred.

• Perform manual and automated testing across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications
• Design, build and maintain automated UI regression suites
• Automate API and integration testing
• Test Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse-based business processes
• Validate end-to-end business processes across enterprise applications
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing
• Manage defects and support quality outcomes through the delivery lifecycle
• Integrate automated test execution into Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
• Work across multiple concurrent digital projects and testing phases
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, business representatives and other members of a multidisciplinary delivery team

Canberra-based candidates are strongly preferred. Highly suitable interstate candidates may also be considered.

The opportunity

This is a strong long-term opportunity for an experienced tester who combines solid functional testing fundamentals with genuine automation engineering capability across Dynamics 365 / Power Platform, UI testing, APIs and CI/CD.

The strongest candidates will be comfortable moving between manual functional testing and hands-on automation rather than specialising exclusively in one or the other.
