Test Analyst (Automation)

About the role

The Test Analyst develops and executes test cases to verify that the company's IT solutions and software changes meet functional and performance expectations. The role supports quality delivery by planning and documenting testing, managing defects, and collaborating with technical teams while following bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret documents, choose approaches, and understand business processes for test analysis and planning

• Develop traceable test cases, prioritize execution, and review junior analysts' tests

• Execute component, system, integration, regression, performance, end-to-end, and acceptance testing

• Assign severity and priority to defects, report test status, and regression-test fixes

• Track, escalate, and explain documented issues to managers and engineers

• Maintain test scenarios, cases, test data, evidence, datasheets, and repository records

• Promote collaboration, improvement, innovation, excellence, and policy adherence

About you

• Three to five years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, testing or quality assurance, or a related field

• Ability to plan, organize, and manage testing and quality-assurance activities

• Understanding of technology systems and collaboration with technical delivery teams

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, TDD, BDD, automation, and continuous testing

• Knowledge of test-management tools such as HP Quality Center, JIRA, and TestRail

• Knowledge of Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit testing frameworks

• Professional certifications in software testing, test-management tools, or testing frameworks (preferred)
