Test Analyst plans, documents, and executes manual testing for healthcare software changes, working with business and tech teams to ensure quality before release.

As a Test Analyst, you'll plan, document and execute testing across project and business-as-usual changes. With two roles available, you'll join a collaborative team working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers and operational teams to confirm solutions meet requirements and perform as expected.

What you'll be working on

  • Creating, maintaining and executing repeatable test cases

  • Defining test scope and coverage for releases and deliveries

  • Creating and maintaining test data

  • Performing manual testing across Windows, mobile and web-based applications

  • Supporting system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing

  • Logging, documenting and managing defects in defect management systems

  • Reviewing business requirements with Business Analysts before development is finalised

  • Working with Developers to clarify required changes and support defect resolution

  • Applying risk-based testing when delivery timeframes are constrained

  • Identifying opportunities to automate repeatable test execution

What you'll bring

  • Experience in a Test Analyst, QA Analyst or software testing role

  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

  • Experience using test and defect management tools such as TestRail, Jira or similar

  • Hands-on manual testing experience across Windows, mobile or web-based applications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Clear written documentation and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to plan testing activities, manage priorities and maintain quality

Desirable experience

  • Exposure to test automation

  • Private health insurance experience

  • Relevant industry training or accreditation
